Hotel Steinbock Grindelwald

Good place with its free parking, bar/lounge area, and ski storage. On my first stay, the staff helped me with a local food delivery number, which I still remember. I highly recommend relaxing at the outside bar with a drink!

Marvellous location - just next door to the restaurant on the breakfast and the outside beer garden. Also, directly near a skying area. Welcoming service, clean room complete with possibility to change. A wide array of fabulous food at breakfast time.

The room is clean and cosy, comes with possibility to change. The rate is £ 151, satisfied. The location is particularly good and convenient, walking distance to the train station...

Very convenient for gondola lift to First.

The breakfast buffet merited barely a 'standard' rating with no fruit other than apples and oranges available and not even basic salami offered on one morning with the other cooked meats. Of course I could have requested some salami but it should not have been necessary to ask for it.

The room was a nice size and cozy, and it had a safe, cable channels, and a writing desk that were useful. The beds were comfy and the staff was incredibly nice. The place had an elegant atmosphere. The service was absolutely friendly! Location: the hotel was not far from the First cable car station.

The spacious double room was a haven after long days of adventure, with a large and comfortable shower area where I could easily unwind. The emphasis on local cuisine during breakfast, especially the homemade options, was a true culinary treat that set the tone for my day!

It was nice that First gondola lift was close to the hotel. The restaurant on the first floor served really tasty pizza.

We wish we could have a refrigerator and Wi-Fi connection working.

Room is far away from railway. Room inside is big enough, but old and simple. Breakfast choice is limited.

Small rooms impact mobility!!! Limited entertainment options in the hotel leave much to be desired!!! Odors in common areas are unpleasant and could be addressed for a better experience!!!

We were very pleased with our stay. We went to Grindelwald so that we could catch the train to Jungfrajoch. The hotel was only a 10 minute, easy walk to the train station. Hotel Steinboch is on the main street, so there were plenty of places to walk to. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff could not have been more kind. We would definitely stay there again!

Y'all, the staff here are sweeter than a peach! Was like family, especially with how they took care of my little one. Every meal was a highlight, especially that breakfast spread. Only little hiccup was the room got a touch warm at night. Can't wait to come back!

The room was spacious and super comfy, with a great shower that was perfect after a long day out. I loved unwinding with a drink on the terrace and having some time in the cozy lounge area. My only small complaint was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times. I'd definitely recommend it 😊
